Paradise Mennonite Church
Developing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Our Core Values

Biblical Authority

Open bibleWe value the Bible as the final authority for all of life. We strive to teach God's Word accurately and relevantly so that seekers trust Christ and beleivers grow in Him (2 Tim. 3:16).

Community

We desire open, honest and loving relationships with one another. We desire all our people to be connected and participate fully in the life of the church and to resolve conflict Biblically (Acts 2:44-46; Rom. 12:10, 16).

Global Missions

We seek to support the spread of the gospel to the ends of the earth through signigicant prayer, financial and people resources (Mt. 28:19-20).

FamilyFriends hugging

We value the spiritual nurture of the family as one of God's means of continuing the Christian faith. We are committed to strong children and youth programs and to strengthening marriages (2 Tim. 1:5).

Prayer

We depend on personal and corporate prayer for the conception, planning and execution of all ministries and activities of this church (Mt. 7:7-11).

Local Outreach

We long for those in our community who have not trusted Christ as Savior to do so (Luke 19:10).

Creativity and Innovation

We will constantly seek cultural relevancy and maximum ministry effectiveness for Christ without compromising Biblical absolutes. We are more concerned with ministry effectiveness than adherence to tradition (1 Chron. 12:32).

Team Ministry

We desire every member to be a minister according to their design and desires. We believe the pastors and teachers are to prepare God's people for works of service (Eph. 4:11-13).

Authentic Worship

Worship Service

We desire to acknowledge God's supreme value and worth in our personal lives and in our corporate worship. We welcome both traditional and contemporary forms of worship which seek foremost to honor God (Rom. 12:1-2).

Grace Oriented

We emphasize God's unconditional acceptance and full forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We encourage people to serve Christ from hearts of love and gratitude rather than guilt and condemnation (Rom. 6:14).
